It wasn’t born as a restaurant. It was born as a way of being.
Casa Peppe was born from an absence: places where nobody rushes you.
It comes from the memory of a long table, of dishes that arrive when they’re ready and conversations that don’t need an ending.
There was a time when eating meant staying. When the table wasn’t measured in turns and the clock didn’t decide when to leave. That time never disappeared. It just stopped being a priority.
Peppe doesn’t cook to impress. He cooks to bring people together. So someone can order another wine without feeling out of place. So the sobremesa can happen without asking permission.
Casa Peppe was born so that time could sit back down at the table. And stay.
Peppe was born in Tuscany in 1968, among hills, vineyards and the smells of a family kitchen. From childhood, the kitchen was his school.
He didn’t learn to cook in grand schools, but at his family’s table. There he understood that cooking wasn’t just food: it was memory, love and celebration.
Today he is an elegant, understated man. More than a cook, he is a host: someone who opens his table with wine, cocktails and endless conversation.
We believe in conversations that run long, in toasts that repeat, in life celebrated around the table.
Welcome to the house of the buona tavola
